Genuine baby steps can achieve big results
Why am I not seeing whats right under my nose – or literally at the end of my garden?!
I keep saying I want to go wild swimming, but as I always tell everyone else, start small with what’s accessible to you and build from there as it slowly integrates intself into your everyday life. This is the best way to really build the connection and ensure the practice becomes engrained in who you are and what you’re about. It might seem like baby steps, but this really is the best way to build a practice that lasts.
I am blessed to have a little oasis at the end of my garden where all the elements reside. One of which is a beautiful stream. I count myself particularly lucky and just love nothing more than sitting down here just connecting to nature and letting it genetly wrap its healing vibes around me. Especially as we move deeper into the Age of Aquarius and the healing power of water seems to be becoming an ever more prominent theme in my life. So, with this in mind, I’ve decided to embrace this by jumping in with both feet – literally! – and making it a daily practice in 2024 to paddle in the stream. To feel the power of the water and let her assist me in grounding, connecting to the natural world, and teaching me to releasing all the no longer serves and going with the flow.
Ok, so it’s not quite wild swimming but hey, one step at a time! I also think this will be particularly helpful with releasing any extra energy my body needs to release from working with the Healys, which might in turn, reduce the tinnitus I’ve been suffering from since October.
