I’ve been away for the weekend so I didn’t get a chance to journal yesterday, but I was pleased I managed to fit in the Human Garage fascia manoeuvres though. This is a good step forward for me as it’s weekends when I’m away that my practice usually ends up dropping off.
It’s been quite an emotional weekend so I could feel my body was really looking forward to doing the Human Garage manoeuvres as soon as I got back this afternoon. It’s like my body already knew the moves would help it relax and help deal with the emotions.
I can feel a sense of calm rippling through me again and I’m feeling like I’m coming back to myself. The fetal position definitely helped as it gave me some distance on the situation and ‘releasing the weight off my shoulders’ was just the thing I needed to make me realise I don’t need to hold onto other people’s problems. They need to take responsibility for themselves. I can be there as a support, but ultimately, they are the ones that need to bring action to heal the situation in their lives.
