Ooh the new pull over squat goes deep! It’s tough, but good.
I can really feel the pull between the hip and shoulder during the Human Garage pull over move on both sides actually, and I know historically there is a lot of tension in this area of my body. It’s starting to make me feel like my upper and lower body are more connected though. I think I only realised that this morning!
I don’t talk about my body as a whole, but rather focus on one specific problem area, or refer to it as upper and lower body. I’ve realised that with this Human Garage reset, I’m starting to feel a body cohesiveness I don’t think I’ve felt before – maybe ever! I’ve known how one area affects another for years, but I don’t think I’ve actually felt the realisation of this deep inside if that makes sense? I’m feeling like my body is starting to come together to heal. We’re doing this together! We’re on the journey as one!
When I step out with the left leg for the Human Garage deep pretzel squat, the legs are so much shakier on that side and there was a big click in my left knee today, but I then felt a release in my hip afterwards.
I’m so grateful for this Human Garage journey of discovery and healing. It’s creating a new level of self awareness I didn’t know was possible. I’m definitely bringing joy into my life today.
